The 2010 Sultan Qaboos Cup is the 39th edition of the Sultan Qaboos Cup (Arabic: كأس السلطان قابوس). It is the premier knockout tournament for football teams in Oman. This edition of the cup has been nicknamed "Al-Kass Al-'Arba'een" (Arabic: الكأس الاربعين), literally meaning "The 40th Cup", due to the country's 40th anniversary of modernity (although the cup is in fact only in its 39th edition).
Fanja SC entered into this edition as the club with the most number of wins, on 8.
Saham are current holders of the competition after defeating Dhofar last year on penalties.
